Debra Quartermain – Debra Quartermain Design
Debra is a licensed designer in the craft and sewing industries. Author of several books and published magazine articles Debra enthusiastically shares her passion for creativity. A savvy seamstress, fabric and felts are her first choice but she also enjoys working in mixed media and delights in creating whimsical dimensional characters.
Debra created this amazing evening gown in 20 minutes at the Westcott Brand CHA TShirt REMIX contest at the Winter 2012 CHA Show!
And Debra was kind enough to provide a step by step tutorial (see her reply below) on how to make this easy and elegant evening gown!

How to!
You will need:
1 XL Tshirt
Extreme Edge Westcott Brand® Titanium Steel Scissors
Embellishments
Fabri-Tac Glue by Beacon
Ruler
5. For the dress top I cut off one sleeve, glued it to bottom of opposite sleeve. Fan folded sleeve and cut small slits through one side only. The neckline was cut off by 2” and scrap piece used to tie opposite shoulder tight. Embellish as desired.
