Debra created this amazing evening gown in 20 minutes at the Westcott Brand CHA TShirt REMIX contest at the Winter 2012 CHA Show!
And Debra was kind enough to provide a step by step tutorial (see her reply below) on how to make this easy and elegant evening gown!
Looks great on you Marissa! Such fun to do!
You will need:
1 XL Tshirt
Extreme Edge Westcott Brand® Titanium Steel Scissors
Fabri-Tac Glue by Beacon
5. For the dress top I cut off one sleeve, glued it to bottom of opposite sleeve. Fan folded sleeve and cut small slits through one side only. The neckline was cut off by 2” and scrap piece used to tie opposite shoulder tight. Embellish as desired.
Thank you so much Debra for the very detailed and professional tutorial on your T-Shirt REMIX project! You are a craft genius and a wonderful teacher! I can't wait to try making one too! We look forward to seeing your segments on Creative Living for PBS! Please post the footage of those demos on craftingrocks.com!
